The House Flipper Remastered Collection launches today – a fully refreshed, revamped version of the original game, with all of the available DLC bundled together into one package.

The original House Flipper is now 8 years old, and while the Frozen Way team is immensely proud of what we built – the underlying technology had reached it limit We see our community’s passion and daily requests for new content, but the old engine the game is built in was in dire need of its own renovation, and updating it would mean players losing all of their save files. Deleting years of player progress was simply not an option for us, so to deliver the features the community has been asking for without destroying what they’ve already built, we had to make a tough choice: rebuild the game on a fresh foundation as a separate, standalone title.

This project is far more than just a visual upgrade. We have spent nearly three years rewriting core mechanics and creating a system that allows for features that were completely impossible in the original House Flipper. This fresh engine has enabled us to finally implement highly requested community tools like the Snapping Tool, a quick Pie Menu, a tablet dark mode, an enhanced photo mode, and an extra save slot, as well as other quality-of-life changes.

• The Look: We added a completely new lighting system. It looks majestic, as we want the atmosphere to be perfect. 

• The Stability: We are fixing the save-file issues from the past. A house must stand firm. Ensuring the game runs smoothly is our top priority. 
• The Inventory: We have packed the crates with over 800 new items. You cannot design a proper home with empty hands. From sleek modern to warm rustic, you finally have the variety to fill every corner and make it truly “koselig”. 

A New Narrative

As we were entirely rebuilding the technical foundation, it felt only right to give the gameplay and narrative more “soul.” With that, we have introduced full voice acting and reimagined the storyline, including brand-new missions centered around the “Meaning of Love”, such as helping newlyweds set up their first shared space or creating the ultimate haven for a coffee lover. There are also six new houses for sale, crafted with love in mind.

From a developer’s perspective, the sheer scope of this project might surprise people; it is actually larger than any major expansion pack we have ever done. We wanted to take our entire eight-year legacy that includes all previous DLCs, and bundle it into one unified, ultimate experience. By fixing the old code, introducing new narrative jobs, and adding over 800 new items, we’ve created what we believe is the definitive way to play. But we don’t want players to just take our word for it. We encourage everyone to jump into the free Demo, experience the massive changes first-hand, and form their own opinion.
